The fluidized bed combustion (FBC) of biomass and solid recovered fuel (SRF) is globally emerging as a viable solution to achieve net-negative carbon emissions in the heat power sector. Contrary conventional fossil fuels, alternative fuels are highly heterogeneous, usually contain increased amounts alkaline metals chlorine. Hence, experimental studies mandatory order thoroughly characterize behavior pollutant formation non-conventional novel applications. This work gives an overview investigations on oxy-fuel hard coal, wheat straw, SRF with limestone semi-industrial circulating (CFB) pilot plant.
